"La Femme 2" is the only pastel painted piece form 2006 of the repetition/versions of "La Femme" series. It's a typical and early recurrent subject in the my early work universe: The woman thematic and the interaction with absolute abstraction of expression with overlaping thematic like big embrangled faces in the composition. Much of this pieces where "freestyles" using a loose pattern that I repeated with variations over and over. I liked to play with trompe l'oeil in this period (overlapping of figures and different ways to perceive the piece) I'd like to Note that the face theme is also there and appears when the painting is flipped upside down.
